#10: Chicago has agreed to pay $13.5M to settle a lawsuit in which it was accused of price fixing with 16 other universities by using a shared methodology to calculate applicants’ financial need, thereby limiting aid to students. Other defendants include Duke (DI), Vanderbilt (DI) and several Ivy League (DI) institutions. So far, Chicago is the only university to settle. (link)
