Per Director of Planning and Construction Schumacher: "Our exercise sports science folks will use it in the morning, our athletic folks will use it for practice or competition, and then later into the evening our general student population can use it for recreation." The new facility allowed Mitchell Hall to be renovated for Gymnastics and other space needs. (link)

#1: After "significant new information" was ascertained, Concordia Chicago parted ways with MBB HC Kollar, who was suspended, and then reinstated, following six student-athletes being hospitalized with rhabdomyolysis from a workout designed as consequence to breaking of curfew. In the intervening period, four members of the athletic training staff resigned and CBS Chicago reports the NCAA, after an initial series of games that could not be played, declared the remainder of the Cougars NACC games as forfeits.
