#9: Catholic names Mount St. Mary's (DI) Assoc. AD for Advancement Robinson Jr. as its next AD, starting June 1. Robinson: "I look forward to advancing Catholic University's athletics program by working with the coaches, staff, and others in continuing to build a winning culture, increase financial support for all of its sports, and ensure that our student-athletes are committed to excellence in the classroom. #8: John Carroll AD Morgan will exit University Heights to become the new Commissioner of the Atlantic Hockey Association and College Hockey America. JCU President Miciak: "Michelle has been a fantastic leader for John Carroll University athletics during a transformative time in our community. #7: Salisbury has hired Lenoir-Rhyne Senior Associate AD of Internal Relations Monica Gordy Polizzi as its new AD. SU President Carolyn Ringer Lepre: "Salisbury University is an athletics powerhouse, and it will take a strong leader to continue to guide our teams and students to success. With more than two decades as a coach, administrator and student-athlete at the collegiate level, we are excited that Monica fits that description and then some." #6: The CCC names WAC (DI) Deputy Commissioner Colbert as its next commissioner, starting July 17. Colbert: "I am honored to be able to work with a group of like-minded institutions that have demonstrated a clear commitment towards establishing itself as an elite conference, both regionally and nationally. We have an opportunity to capitalize on the momentum of a historic year and it is a goal of mine to ensure that through collaboration and the encouragement of strategic and creative thinking, we work collectively to evolve our brand awareness and continue to compete for national championships annually." #5: Mount Saint Mary selects Army West Point (DI) Assoc. AD for Event Operations, Facilities and Capital Projects/MSMC alum Shane Bell as its next AD, starting January 3. Bell: "I fell in love with the Mount when I was still in high school and my years as student-athlete at the college were some of the most rewarding of my life. The ability to come back to campus to lead this department, as we strive for academic and athletic success, is a privilege." (link)

#3: RPI will name Boston (DI) Senior Assoc. AD/SWA Kristie Bowers as its next AD. President Marty Schmidt: “Her record of helping student-athletes to achieve both athletic and academic excellence makes Dr. Bowers the perfect fit for our community. She is committed to fostering healthy, well-rounded, student leaders, and we look forward to the growth of our programs and new heights of success for our athletes under Dr. Bowers’ leadership. #2: Finlandia will close its doors at the end of the school year and not enroll students next year. A letter from Board of Trustees Chair Nakkula reads, in part: "I am deeply saddened to announce that due to a combination of demographic changes, with fewer high school graduates available, a steep decrease in interest in going to college among those graduates, and an unbearable debt load, Finlandia’s Board of Trustees met and have decided to not enroll students for the 2023-2024 school year. [...] We, as a board and leadership team, left no stone unturned in our attempts to move Finlandia forward toward a healthier future." (link)
