Dickinson AD Joel Quattrone will retire at the end of the academic year after 38 years with the Red Devils. Quattrone: "When I took over as Athletic Director, I wanted to foster a welcome and inviting atmosphere for everyone that was a part of this department whether they had been here for 20-plus years or were a recent hire. Anyone that has worked with me or for this department since I ascended to this role will notice that my door is always open and that is not by accident. It has always been my belief that actions speak louder than words, so when I say I wanted the department to feel welcome I meant it and what better way than to allow anyone to stop in to either ask a question or simply say hello. I want everyone to feel that I was a guy who attempted to form solid relationships with everyone and anyone that I met. In addition, I want it to be felt that I always worked hard to impact everyone in any way that I could whether that be a player on the field/court/pool/track, a coach or fellow staff member with a question or using my network to assist our students in procuring employment somewhere it has always been my goal to help anyone that needs it."
