#9: Florida’s Ben Hill Griffin Stadium is set for a major renovation that Gators AD Stricklin describes as follows: “This is going to be, by far, the most ambitious facility project that, not only the University of Florida’s ever done from an athletic standpoint, but it might be the biggest in SEC history.” Stricklin estimates the upgrades will cost a “few hundred million dollars” and says the project is “not going to be a new coat of paint and a couple of new video boards. It’s going to be all of that, plus significant structural renovations.” Details themselves are still being finalized. (link)

#8: Marquette MBB HC Smart says he would have never left VCU had former Rams AD Teague stayed in Richmond: “So, Norwood Teague, who, you know, I still communicate with and I really appreciate. He obviously went through, and did, some dumb stuff at Minnesota. He hired me at VCU, and I was the third assistant at Florida. [...] And we, as AD and coach, had a really, really, really special relationship, kind of like brothers, where we would go back and forth, and we fight sometimes, but we will always have each other's backs.And he just had a unique understanding, I think, because he had been a part of a college basketball coaching staff - what the plight of a coach is - and, you know, we talked all the time about, like, ‘I'm not going anywhere if you don't go anywhere.’” (link)

Chancellor Minor: “Andrew brings a wealth of diverse experiences that will help SIUE realize its ambition to graduate champions. It is clear that he has the capacity to improve the competitiveness of our athletics program while supporting SIUE coaches and staff, and most importantly our student athletes.” (link)

#4: The ASUN selects MAC Deputy Commissioner/COO Bacon to become its next commissioner. North Alabama President Kitts, who chaired the search committee: "We had a very broad and deep pool of applicants for this important position. Jeff's experience, knowledge, and professional network make him ideally well-suited to lead our conference to the next level of excellence in collegiate athletics." Parker Executive Search assisted with the process.
