UAA EVP Rasmussen announces his retirement, effective at the end of the 2023-24 academic year. Rasmussen: “I began discussions with the chair of our Presidents Council two years ago and in my conversations with our current chair, it became clear that now is the time for me to step away. Both chairs were very supportive and encouraged me to determine a timeline that was best for me and for my family.” Carnegie Mellon President/UAA CEO Jahanian: “Dick Rasmussen is a visionary leader whose unwavering commitment to Division III athletics has profoundly impacted higher education institutions and countless student athletes across the country. Over the course of his impressive career, his advocacy and ability to consistently convene leaders and offer sage guidance has established the UAA as one of the premier conferences in NCAA Division III.” 3 Fold Group will assist the association in its search for Rasmussen's successor.
