Athletics was growing, facilities were addressed, and the academic profile of the university kept increasing. Those factors combined with a dedicated staff helped us land great all-conference level players, many of whom ended up becoming MSOE hall of famers. … We were able to put together some amazing seasons and accomplishments, but the true legacy will be that we did everything while representing the name on the front of the jersey and not the one on the back."
