#10: Pacific AD Lucas announces she will retire on August 2nd after five years leading the Tigers. Lucas: “This place, the Pacific Athletics Family and our collective mission are tremendously important to me, and as I complete my 43rd year in college athletics, the time has come to step away and begin the next stage of my life.” (link)

#9: The WBB Final Four court design have been released. For the WBB, SBJ notes the WBB surface is “bright like the Dallas sky.” (link)

#8: Under Armour inks NIL deals with WBB student-athletes from Notre Dame, Maryland, South Carolina and Utah, who will receive an undisclosed amount of the profit from the sale of shirzees. The shirzees will include the institutions’ marks. (link)

#7: Since Colgate Women’s Lacrosse HC Taylor took over in 2019, 20 players have left the team, alleging Taylor ridiculed players for their weight, dismissed their mental health concerns and pushed them to play through injuries that shortened their careers, according to NorthJersey.com’s Zambito, Ram and Anzidei. After law firm Emery Celli Brinckerhoff Abady Ward & Maazel sent a letter to Colgate President Casey detailing the allegations of six players, the university retained a law firm that specializes in equity issues in women’s athletics to conduct an inquiry. While the probe resulted in Taylor’s remaining on staff, the university announced it would allow players to keep their scholarships if they chose to leave the team. Additionally, a Deputy AD was appointed as team administrator, and an AC was elevated to AHC. Lots more. (link)

#6: IUPUI AD Perry announces he will resign at the end of this academic year or once his successor is named. Perry: "I am proud of what we have accomplished together. We have had some amazing accomplishments. It has been a privilege to serve, and I look forward to seeing the continued success of our student-athletes, coaches, and staff. With Vision 2024 and IU 2030, I feel now is the time for new leadership. I am confident the foundation has been laid for future success. I will leave with wonderful memories." (link) 

#5: La Salle AD Baptiste is indeed headed to Coral Gables to join the Miami (FL) leadership team. Baptiste’s role is technically Senior Deputy AD, not COO as had been previously reported. Canes AD Radakovich: “Brian is a dynamic and driven leader who brings a wealth of experience to our staff and will play a vital role in continuing to move our athletic department forward.” (link)

#4: The MBB Final Four court design has been released. For the MBB floor in Houston, SBJ notes the “nebulous inspired edge design gives the illusion the court is floating in space." (link)
