#2: Blackburn broke ground on its $6.4M indoor practice facility as the college launched its $7.7M Winning Together: A Campaign for Athletics and Enrollment. The 40K+ square-foot facility will include a full turf field, batting cages, golf simulators, locker rooms and lots more. The campaign will also upgrade the court, roof, HVAC and more in the Dawes-Woodward Complex. Interim AD/Baseball HC Neal: “No other Division III school in the Midwest will have a practice space like ours. The uniqueness of the facility is certain to aid in the recruitment and retention of students.” (link)

#1: Northland AD/Men's Ice Hockey HC Gregory has stepped down to pursue other coaching opportunities. Gregory: "When departing from any position, you always want to leave feeling like you made a difference and that it's in a better place than when you arrived, and I believe it is. I love Northland College, the north woods, and everything it's given to our family." MBB HC/Asst. AD Sorenson will lead the Lumberjacks and Lumberjills in the interim. (link)
