#8: PSAC Commissioner Steve Murray joins the UKnighted Podcast to discuss a myriad of topics, including that the conference has invited an unnamed two-year institution in Pennsylvania to join the PSAC as its 18th full member, with an official announcement to be made by the end of June. Murray adds that membership will likely hold at 18 until the future for the NCAA is more settled. Further: “Remember that our mission is education. Remember that at the end of the day, our job is to help kids get an education and get a job. Now all the other things, the Dixon Trophy, the trophies in the NCAA, all that's great, but remember what your job is. If the NCAA goes away, Gannon's still going to have athletic programs because they think it's important and the conference is still going to exist because there's going to need to be something that coordinates all those things, so it really doesn't change what we do. Maybe there are fewer teams going to the NCAA championships; you know they survived for a hundred years without having big championship numbers so I guess I put it in that perspective to remember what we're doing.” More.
