#10: Hiram is facing $3-4M in cuts, according to President Robert Bohrer II, who adds: “It's not across the board. We have 25% (cuts) in non-revenue areas. And so areas like development, fundraising, and admission, we're not cutting budgets there. We're not cutting athletic budgets the same way, because we've used athletics to drive a lot of our enrollment. […] I would argue if we don't take these kind of financial responsibility steps then, yeah, that would be an existential threat to the college. And I think that a lot of colleges are faced with that right now, and I think the responsible thing to do is, as difficult as it might be, to look at these and realign your expenditures with your revenues.” (link)

#9: Next spring, Trine will open a $6M, 92K square-foot dome that will include artificial turf, locker rooms, bleachers and more. President Earl Brooks II on the facility that will be used by Baseball, Football, Lacrosse, Soccer and Softball: “We’re proud to continue to support our athletic teams with state-of-the-art facilities, allowing them to build on the many successes we’ve already achieved. In addition, this new space will allow all our students more access to Hershey Hall, which will undergo its own extensive renovations and upgrades.” (link)

#8: As part of a $52.5M facilities plan, Carroll will undertake a $10M renovation of Van Male Field House. The project will include a new indoor arena, training facility, alumni suite and more. President Cindy Gnadinger: “Carroll University is expanding and revitalizing the Van Male Field House to meet the growing needs of our students, athletes, and the greater Waukesha community. #6: Chapman has named former Toledo (DI) AD Mike O’Brien as Interim AD for the 2025-26 academic year. (link)

#5: Centenary (NJ) names NJCU Asst. AD Pete Vincent as its next AD. Vincent on returning to lead his alma mater: “I am extremely excited to come back to Cyclone Nation and devote my time and energy to making the next chapter here one of the best ever written. As a student-athlete here, I had an amazing experience both on and off the court. #4: Husson hires Thomas AD Christopher Parsons as the Eagles’ new AD. President Lynne Coy-Ogan: “We are thrilled to have an accomplished professional of Chris Parson's caliber joining Husson as our new athletic director. #3: Sewanee rolls out a new visual identity with the assistance of SKYE. AD John Shackelford: "Competing for Sewanee means wearing a legacy– the gothic S, the Sewanee Purple, and the pride of the Mountain. #2: Piedmont promotes Asst. AD/SWA/Women’s Basketball HC Jamie Purdy to AD, effective immediately, as Purdy will continue to coach while leading the Lions.
