OneTeam Partners will acquire The Brandr Group, per SBJ’s Ben Portnoy, who adds: “OneTeam Partners, which handles group licensing for the NFLPA, MLBPA and in the college space, among other efforts, includes EA Sports and Fanatics among its licensees. In acquiring TBG, the company’s reach will add a dozen new licensees such as Panini America, Homage and Upper Deck. […] The merger between OneTeam and TBG will now see the former’s group licensing program grow to an estimated 30,000 athletes. TBG also worked directly with more than 100 schools, including UConn, Florida, Purdue and Michigan, that will be folded into the OneTeam portfolio.” Exact deal terms were not disclosed. (link)
